24 Hours With: Josh Dobbs
During the 2019 offseason, then-Steelers quarterback Josh Dobbs had the opportunity to fly with the Air Force Thunderbirds. Dobbs studied aerospace engineering at Tennessee and knows a thing or two about fighter jets. After discovering he was going to be doing this, I went out to Waco, Texas to produce this feature and ultimately edit it as well.

For SI senior writer Charlotte Wilder’s show, The Wilder Project, on SI TV, I produced and edited a correspondent video where she went to the 2018 U.S. Air Guitar National Championships. She interviewed the reigning back-to-back World Air Guitar Champion and saw this year’s U.S. champion be crowned.

While participating in a promo video for Discovery Channel’s Cash Cab (see below), I briefly learned about Major League Dreidel but had to know more. After speaking with the Knishioner about the sport, I knew I had to do a feature on it. I produced and edited this docu-follow about the Spincredible Hulk and the MLD.

Where Are They Now?: Tony Hawk
In 2018, Tony Hawk turned 50 years old. Sports Illustrated went out to southern California to film a day-in-the-life with him, which involved visiting his skatepark and hanging out with his daughter. And since Tony Hawk was big in the 90’s, we shot part of the video on DV Cam.

Every year, Sean Aron builds the ultimate Snack-adium for his Super Bowl parties. Each year, the Snack-adium is modeled off of the host city’s stadium. For the 2017 season, we visited Aron while he was building a replica U.S. Bank Stadium for Super Bowl LII. This video was produced out of house and edited by me.

My Sports Illustrated coworker, Rohan Nadkarni, and I participated in our own Cash Cab trivia game as part of the show’s promotion for its 2018 comeback. Discovery gave me all the raw footage, music and graphics which I then edited together into this final video.

As part of FanDuel’s new Fantasy Golf feature, they made a 9-hole mini golf course with Joe Montana as the spokesperson. I was able to interview the Hall of Fame quarterback while also playing him in a round of mini golf. I also edited the video.
